May 6th, 2023.
171 corvettes, traveling as far as 176 miles, arrived at the Tippecanoe Amphitheater in West Lafayette to show support for our veterans. This would not be as sucessful without all of YOU.
A total of $17,000 was donated, a 50% increase over 2022 & 4 laundry carts of 'Wish List' items for the Indiana Veteran's Home. We had two successful raffles, a table runner by Connie and stained glass by Brian, frame by Phil, raising $795 for Mary T. Klinker. See photos of winners below.
Drivers from the visiting corvette clubs were given a commemorative 11th anniversary hat pin. A free parking lot hotdog lunch was enjoyed. Residents of the Veteran's Home had their own cookout, also furnished by our sponsor. Before leaving IVH, the visiting clubs had a moment to take the stage and share a bit about their club.
Yvonne & Ann. Vettes for Vets Co-Chairs, thank you for all the planning and hard work.
A special thank you to our event sponsor, Christi Hubler Chevrolet in Crawfordsville.
